The bedroom in My Night at Maud’s

First of all, what an incredibly fun question and I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one. I think about the set dec in this Rohmer film, particularly Maud's bedroom, on a semi-regular basis as an essential blueprint for designing my own space. The sheepskin blanket, the shelf behind the bed with books, the oversized side table with the lamp and coffee cup...No notes. Plus, Maud was one of my first film crushes.
